Now there is no denying that size and strength aren’t important factors in a fight, but they don’t have to be the deciding factors if you’re trained. Does someone having superior size or strength make things more difficult, no doubt and you should avoid situations where they can use their gifts at all costs, but when you have to fight have the tools you need to win. You won’t have to worry about reaching there face to strike if you hack them down to your level, and you’ll look a lot taller. The National Center for Health Statistics says the average height for an adult male in the United States is 5 feet 9.2 inches, and 5 feet 3.8 inches for a woman, so if you’re under you’ve already realize your at a disadvantage, but it doesn’t mean you can win a fight. We can provide you with the skill set to win you just have to supply the drive.
Master Instructor Ross who I admire and train with regularly isn’t any taller than I am, and I’m below average, but the knowledge he has is what makes a difference, and considering the size of some of his other training partners it has to. In module one you’ll learn a variety of techniques where you learn how to strike an opponent effectively, and they all work on any person regardless of size, because each savage blow will break your attacker down. If you want to get stronger we have exercises that will help you build explosive strength that will be there when you need it most, and we can help you harden your body so you can take more punishment.
It will take longer if you hit someone with edge of hands to the torso, but eventually you’ll be able to hit their head if you keep striking hard. Now in module five you will learn escapes and evasions, and that will give you a chance to get away, and not let a stronger opponent get a hold of you. It won’t be easy, but that doesn’t mean you should stop fighting. When you do go to make your move make it confidently, not some flailing attack won’t do any damage and exposes you to attack. We can’t make you taller, but through our training we can make you tougher. When you feel tough you’ll be more confident, and when you’re more confident people will be less likely to want to pick a fight with you, but if you do have to fight you’ll just react like you’re trained to. You’ve accepted that you’re not as tall as some other people and you’re cool with that, but you should never be cool with being picked on regardless of your age. He’s big, but you know how to make him fall hard. |
