Detroit fans tired of the Lions losing on Thanksgiving can turn to MMA a few days early on Nov. 20, when the Palace of Auburn Hills hosts UFC 123, headlined by the former light heavyweight champions match between Quinton "Rampage" Jackson and Lyoto Machida. MMAFighting.com confirmed the details with UFC president Dana White. It will be the promotion's first event in Michigan since UFC 9 in May 1996.
