The fallout from the Shine Fights 3 show that never actually happened is still permeating throughout the MMA world, from fighters claiming payment was never made to promoters fighting back with statements of their own.

One person who saw firsthand what went down in North Carolina on May 15 when the show was canceled was former Shine Fights matchmaker Ron Foster, who has now left the organization once and for all.

During the tumultuous period surrounding May 15, Foster was in North Carolina dealing with many of the issues the promotion had that weekend including a commission that eventually canceled the show for the lack of a doctor being provided for the event, as well as financial issues not handled in a timely manner.

The matchmaker had actually issued his resignation just days after the show’s cancellation, but decided to give it one more go before eventually walking away for good.  Now exiting as a promoter, Foster will stay involved with the sport working as a manager instead.

Foster will be working with Headbussa, LLC, a company that was involved with the recent movie "Vengeance," which starred Danny Trejo, along with MMA fighters Rashad Evans, Houston Alexander, and rap star 50 Cent.
