Haqqani Took Heavy Losses in Base Assaults PDF Print E-mail

The al Qaeda-linked Haqqani Network lost 35 fighters and a commander during the recent attack on two US bases in eastern Afghanistan, according to a US intelligence official. Many of the fighters were wearing US uniforms and thirteen of of those killed were wearing suicide vests.
