Only morons go shopping on Black Friday. Last year there were two dead in shooting at Toys R Us in Desert Palm, California and on Long Island, some poor sap who was just trying to do his job, got trampled at a Walmart in Valley Stream, NY by a stampede of mouth breathin g morons.
Is this what the world has come to? People killing each other to save a few bucks on some plastic piece of crap your kid isn’t going to look at in a few weeks? Let’s face it; you’re just buying ebay fodder or an excuse for the next Craigslist murderer to contact you. Seriously, do you really need this?
I guarantee you, the time it takes you to get up at dawn, go to the local (insert chain store selling over priced crap here) wait in line only to be a victim of the latest “bait and switch” scam you could have found it on the internet.
To the Left: Morons who don't know how to shop on the internet
People who go to these thing operate in pre-riot mode. One extra push, one little shove and you're locked in mortal combat over a GI JOE with the Kung Fu grip. The only thing worse than beating the hell out of some idiot over an XBOX, is having to explain your behavior to the cops. Imagine, you, a grown man, standing in front of a judge after spending time away from work, money on a lawyer and paying whatever fines and court costs, trying to explain and justify your behavior as a 5 year old. Because when you're pushed, you WON'T BACK DOWN.
Mark my words: if last year was any indication, you’re probably going to see even more explosive behavior from these Black Friday morons. Yes, the economy is recovering but the last thing to recover is employment. A lot of people are still out of work. They are more desperate then ever and their happiness somehow translates into their kid having everything on his Christmas list. Listen, if the love of your child hinges on your ability to procure useless garbage then may I suggest adoption? Do you think people learn? HELL NO and they never will. They go to these things with SUCKER tattooed on their foreheads. Who's to blame? The retailers and manufacturers. Hyping demand and creating a frenzy around the "event" that is called Black Friday. If they kept the inventory full and met demand, the toys would be there when you finally could go shopping.
I give a big F-U to retail marketing and I offer this humble alternative.
Let's turn Black Friday into “Black and Blue Friday”.
This Black Friday, let’s do something useful. How about learning to crack the next bargain frenzied shopper who tries to pry that “Tickle Me Elmo” from your sweaty little hands?
Seriously, take this Friday, sleep late, hang out watch reruns on TV and when you’re out of your turkey coma, go train a bit in The Self Defense Training System.
There’s no better stress release than beating the hell out of your training target as you hack and gouge your way to lethal euphoria.
This holiday season, give yourself the gift that keeps on giving, the gift of fear! Send a clear message that you’re not to be messed with, you are the ultimate bad ass!
Because when it’s all said and done, electronics break, clothes get worn out but the knowing how to silently kill a sentry, never gets old and never goes out of style.
