Lineage is a funny thing. Some say that it's not important and people place too much  emphasis on it. Most of the time those people DON'T have any lineage or any specific people they can credit or point their training to.Most times they can't.

Look at the most popular self defense systems around today. You will discover that all of them except a few can point to a lineage of close combat training and expertise. Most of them spent little or no time learning any defensive tactics or fighting arts. Most f their systems are based on what they believe works. That is only one man or woman.
